OBJECTIVE

I am interested in working with a team where I may contribute my experience as a construction superintendent with over 28 years of professional experience. My previous experience includes working as a construction project superintendent for a general contractor, independent contractor; and construction manager for large construction projects at Lennar, MBK Homes, and Greystone Homes. My construction experience includes reviewing contract documents, estimates, submittals, drawings, drafting RFI’s, daily reports, schedules, and coordination with clients, architects, sub-contractors, testing and inspection firms, and project management team members. Additionally, my construction experience includes new construction, historical restorations, tenant interiors, public works, and commercial project experience. My most recent project completed includes the full-scale renovation of the Manhattan Beach Aquarium Facility. The projects I have managed range in size from $5000-$2.5M. EXPERIENCE

Phoenix Construction & Management – Los Angeles, CA – Construction Superintendent October 2018-March 2020

● Establish specific site objectives and schedules.

● Act as site liaison with subcontractors, vendors, client contacts and design team

● Coordination of all site activities including the project schedule, site general conditions cost, quality control, project final delivery and punch-out.

● Assistance with conducting initial site investigation to supporting the bid preparation phase of a project.

● Assist Project Manager with bidding, subcontract scope of work, pricing of owner and subcontractor change orders and verification of costs

● Produce and submit RFI’s, Logs, Daily Reports, Incident Reports and Schedule documents accurately and in a timely fashion:

● Supervision of fast track schedules including large scale high-end build-out work and small base build/ground up or additions.

● Verify and approve employee timecards

● Schedule and direct all inspections with city officials, government agencies and private agencies as required

● Schedule all trades and material deliveries daily

● Resolve problems as they arise regarding plans or specifications, conflicts with the architect, engineer, clients and subcontractors and documentation of all corrections, changes and requests

● Safety management including OSHA Standards, planning, communication, monitoring, enforcement and documentation.

● Manage large construction projects and coordinated with Owner/Architect on remediation, schedule, changes, and overall construction schedule.

● Preparation of monthly schedules.

● Change order review, negotiation and tracking through document control programs and directories.

● Coordinate, schedule, and perform quality control on sub-contractor work including: framing, structural steel, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drywall/paint, roofing, and finish carpentry contractors.

● Manage change orders and construction issues/resolution across all trades.
