VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
While working in the school system I realized that there was a need for young women of color to understand their hair. I began teaching them how to maintain their coils outside of school. I would go to their homes and do their hair as well as their siblings. I also worked with the Richmond Youth Police Activities League. While there I assisted in the development of activities for the youth.
