DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quantity Surveyor – Rider Levett Bucknall Phils ( Manila,Phil.) Feb 2016 to May 2019
Responsible for each Subcontractor’s work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control
Review of payment applications / invoices for Consultants, Subcontractors, Suppliers etc. in accordance with the Subcontract Agreement and provide feedback to the management for any inadequacy or non-compliance with the Subcontract Agreement or otherwise with Company Standard Procedures.
Evaluate monthly payment application and progress of works on site then prepares certifying payments for Subcontractor’s Account
Ensure and monitor changes in the construction plan, study and evaluate RFI’s and EI’s request for any potential claims
Review and evaluate IFC drawings, revised drawings and shop drawings for any possible variations to the Client
Review and assess variation claims and further recon with subcontractor’s Cost Engineer.
Communicate regularly with clients, project staff and specialist subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood and followed at all times
Prepare monthly financial reports to Senior Manager
Assist Senior Manager in estimation and preparation of cost plan.
Assist Senior Manager in implementing and maintaining all required cost control and audit procedures.
Check all quantities of subcontractor accounts, re-measure all work carried out and support subcontractors in the preparation of final accounts.
Preparation, negotiation and agreement of Subcontractors Final Account.

Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant ·
Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection to suppliers
Coordinates the requisition, issuances and the timely delivery of required materials on site.
Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
