CR20 - Formula Student Car Feb 2020 - Present

Objective: To conceptualize, design and fabricate a formula styled racing car and compete against Universities across India.

Description: CR20 is the teams 10

prototype race car with aerodynamics package including Front Wing, Rear Wing, Underbody, and Diffuser. Introduced Anti-Roll Bars in Front and Rear suspensions, thus decoupling ride and roll.

Event: Formula Bharat 2021

Role: Vehicle Dynamics Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Overseen the vehicle dynamics design, manufacturing, and testing, which resulted in the team winning 2nd place in Engineering Design Event in Formula Bharat 2020. 2. Developed a Vehicle Model on IPG Carmaker and validated it with testing data in AiM Race Studio 2 software.

3. Modeled R25B Hoosier Tire on OptimumT and plotted tire graphs which improved our understanding of tires.

4. Mentored Juniors, and recruited new students thus spearheading the project forward. CR19 - Formula Student Car Apr 2019 - Feb 2020

prototype race car with revamped Vehicle dynamics by implementing Pull-Rod Suspension, Angular mounted Brakes and Bevel gear actuated Steering. Awarded 2nd in Engineering Design Event at Formula Bharat 2019 out of 51 teams. Role: Steering Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Implemented bevel gear system for the first time, which reduced yaw inertia of the vehicle and reduced weight by 14%.

2. Incorporated Rear-steer geometry for the first time, which improved suspension kinematics enormously

3. Custom designed Steering Gearbox with a 220 deg lock to lock. CRX - Formula Student Car Nov 2018 - Apr 2019

Objective: To conceptualize, design and fabricate a formula styled racing car and compete against Universities across India.

Description: CRX was the 8th prototype race car in the vision of lightweight and Agility. Lightest race car in the event and also in the history of team camber racing, weighing just 180 kg. Fastest single-cylinder race car in the event, covering 75m in 5.038 seconds at Formula Bharat 2019 Event: Formula Bharat 2019 (Overall 8th Place)

Responsibilities:

1. Studied the gear design of bevel gears and Rack & Pinion systems. 2. Analyzed Universal joints which were implemented in CRX prototype race car. 3. Modeled Suspension geometry in Lotus Suspension Analysis software. Design, Analysis and Manufacturing of Induction Hardened Hollow Drive Shaft Jan20 - May20

• Designed and manufactured a lightweight hollow driveshaft with EN24 material, thus increasing the performance of the vehicle.

• Aakruti is a nationwide product design contest run by Dassault Systèmes for engineering, design and technology students in India.
