• Socioeconomic correlates of biological invasions - determining the relationship between invasive species and a country’s socio-economic status.

• Relationships were derived by correlation analysis between various socio -economic variables and the prevalence and number of invasive species on a global scale using country-level data sets (approximately 169 countries). The whole work included studying all scientific literature available on topic, data acquisition, processing, analysis through statistical tools and software, and interpretation.

B.Sc.(H) Project: Inhibitory effects of invasive plant extracts & fruit juices on seed germination Department of Botany, Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi 2014

• Lab project in B.Sc (H) Botany (2014): Inhibitory effects of leaves and root extracts of various weeds & fruit juices on seed

(Solanum lycopersicum and Vigna radiata seeds) germination; Effects of fruit (Lemon, Pomegranate, Orange, Spinach leaves) juices on seed germination.

• Seeds grown in sterile petri-plates observed for growth every 24 hours for 4 days. Parameters observed for allelopathic effects are - per cent germination, root and shoot length of seedling.
