Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reviews Contractor HSE Plan, method statement and risk assessments and reports.

• Contribute to the development of new techniques and standards.

• Direct and guide employees based on general policies and management guidance and provide interpretation of compliance requirements.

• Works hand in hand with PWA QSD representative/ Department to achieve the highest level of safety.

• To conduct periodic internal focused HSE audit and second party focused audit of the main Contractor.

• Ensures that HSE management system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with Qatar Laws and regulations, PWA HSE requirements and international standards.

• Conducting Interview the Contractor’s Safety supervisor/officer and send recommendation to the client.

• Keeps a close contact with contractors HSE Manager and staff, Construction managers, Site engineers and Site Supervisors to ensure safety is a priority and issues dealt accordingly.
