Developed a 6-bit R-2R Ladder based Digital to Analog converter. Further analysis is done to extend it to 8-bit. Worked on Gesture control implementation in a Robotic arm. INTERNSHIPS
DAC Design - Analog electronics Jul 2019 - Dec 2019 Design and implementation of a 4-stage pipelined processor in verilog - Computer Architecture Feb 2019 - Apr 2019 Study on 2D Materials for Gas Sensing Applications - Gas Sensors Jan 2019 - Apr 2019 Design of a 500 MHz Linear RF amplifier - RF Microelectronics Sep 2018 - Nov 2018 Developed a 6-bit R-2R Ladder based Digital to Analog converter. Analyzed the architecture to extend it to 8-bit.
The DAC will be used in a custom cell that is a part of the DDR memory Interface. Further, the layout will be designed and tested.
Designed a pipelined MIPS like datapath(instructions subset of MIPS) using Verilog. Implemented a Forwarding technique to resolve data hazards. Implemented and verified the functionality using the Xilinx ISE design suite. Studied three different 2D materials namely Black phosphorus, Silicene, and Germanene. The study included various articles and the results published in those articles are compared for the best material available for sensing a particular gas.
Also, some performance improvement strategies for gas sensing applications are highlighted. Designed a linear amplifier at 500 MHz to be used in a solid-state driver system supplying 2 KW power. The BFQ790 by Infineon Technologies is used as the transistor for this design. The static power dissipation of the amplifier is 1.8 W and produced a post layout gain of 18 dB. PROJECTS
