Project Description : The Tejas is an indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA). LCA cockpit has many display units the Head Up Display (HUD) is an important cockpit display that is used to display the information received from the Open Architecture Computer (OAC) in a visual form by writing it on to a CRT screen which will be collimated and combined with the real world image through beam combiners. Role & Responsibilities:

Black Box Testing of Head Up Display .

Requirement Analysis, Development and Implementation of Dual Scan Raster Card for HUD.

Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Fault debugging, Certification and Documentation of HUD in both System level and Aircraft level.

Software Updating to Head Up Display Simulator.

Pre-installation & Functional Testing of Head Up Display Coordination with QA&SEG and HAL (CRI).

Co-ordination with QA&SEG, HAL (CRI) and RCMA (CEMILAC) for the Unit Clearance for Aircraft.

Project Description : The Smart Standby Display Unit is stand-alone color display unit. SSDU displays page information based on the parameters received through RS422. The SSDU is a high-end display system provided in the cockpit of LCA for the display of GET U HOME (GUH) parameters and ENGINE FUEL INDICATOR parameters (EFI). The same can act as GUH or EFI. SSDU shall function as SSDU_GUH or SSDU_EFI in TEJAS fighter and also as repeater SSDU_GUH and repeater SSDU_EFI in rear cockpit of TEJAS Trainer, depending on the function selection discrete inputs received through its external interfaces during POWER ON.

Role & Responsibilities:

CSU and CSC level testing of SSDU software using RTRT tool to perform White Box Testing for new version of SSDU.

Development and execution of test case, Unit & Component testing and generate test report.

Preparation of test document and Report Clearance document of Smart Standby Display Unit.

Conducting Black Box Testing for SSDU_GUH, SSDU-EFI.

Co-ordination with QA&SEG, HAL (CRI) and RCMA (CEMILAC) for the Unit Clearance for Aircraft.

Post Flight Data Analysis and report generation for the Aircraft Flight Test Point clearance.

Project Description : The Multi Function Display (MFD) is a part of the Human Machine Interface

(HMI) between pilot and aircraft as display and control terminal. The MFD unit is a 5’’ by 5’’ color video display that forms a part of aircraft cockpit integrated display system. It has a high-resolution color Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) screen, capable of displaying a variety of display pages. TEJAS aircraft has three Multi Function Displays : Left Multi Function Display (LMFD), Center Multi Function Display (CMFD) and Right Multi Function Display (RMFD).

Role & Responsibilities:

Black Box Testing, Display Integration Rig Maintenance and Certification activity of MFD.

Involved Software updating and release Multiple Version of Software with respect to customer requirement.
