Developed AC & DC schematic diagrams, BOM or BOQ, relay’s PLC diagrams, and other distribution boards’ drawings using AutoCAD and MS Excel.

2018 – Construction of New Conventional Substation (6 months)

a.Developed SLD of 115kV, Breaker-and-a-half bus scheme (5 bays having total of 15-63kAIC PCBs)

b.Developed equipment specification and review the supplier’s design of 2-300MVA, 230kV/115kV power transformers (Siemens and Hitachi)

c.Designed protections system for the 3-115kV Transmission Lines (used line differential, distance, and directional type of protection relays)

Added also synchro-check relays and corresponding DTT logic diagrams, on how will the PCBs operate during fault accurence.

d.Designed power distribution boards and its interconnections for both AC and DC supplies of the whole substation.

2017 – Upgrade of ABB 115kV breaker-and-a-half Substation (4 months)

a.Completed the wiring design conversion of existing ABB 15-115kV, 40kAIC live-tank PCBs, and protection & control panels to 63kAIC PCBs (Siemens dead-tank PCB)

b.Designed interconnection diagrams of PCBs going to the protection and control room.

2017 – Development of New 115kV GIS Substation (6 months)

a.Designed SLD and interconnection schematic of 115kV and 34.5kV GIS substation (Main and transfer bus), with protection scheme for power transformers, transmission lines and PCBs’ interlocking scheme.

b.Reviewed GIS primary and secondary design, and specially the interlocking scheme between disconnect switches and breakers.

2016 - Addition of 34.5kV Metalclad Switchgear (3 months)

a.Designed SLD and schematic diagrams of 34.5kV, 25kAIC Metalclad switchgear (Siemens) and its protection and control panels (SEL)

b.Connected to an existing 83MVA power transformer and design wiring diagrams of all trips and alarms contacts/signals.
