PROJECTS:

1. Title: Sensorless speed estimation of Bldc Motor with the help of neural networks. Software Used: MATLAB

Description: In this project speed estimation of BLDC motor is done using 2 methods

(a)using motor equations by mathematical modelling (b) using neural networks with help of neural network tool box in MATLAB.

2. TITLE: Hardware Implementation of boost converter for Smart Meter Application. Description: This project aim is to develop a smart meter for a DC Domestic Load. The role of mine is to Design a boost converter to boost the voltage from solar input and is used to supply the DC load connected through a smart meter infrastructure. The inductor and capacitor values are chosen according to design specifications. Switching pulses are given from LPC2148 Microcontroller Board. For the future scope, we are developing the switching pulses using the analog circuitry as it is reliable.

3. Title: Efficient switching mechanism for squirrel cage asynchronous generator. Description: In this project energy saving mechanism using star delta connection for SCIG is proposed. To increase efficiency is important for any machine to improve long life and to reduce losses. Hardware experimental results of efficiency for star and delta connection are plotted and the convergence point is switching point to other connection. Switching is done from star to delta connection in light load to full load condition.

4.Title: Energy Auditing.

Description: In this project energy auditing is done near our B. Tech college by collecting real time data from residential and commercial buildings and helped them to reduce power consumption by using proper equipment’s and other techniques to reduce usage. Role: Team leader
