Our family acquired Summerwood Guest House in 2012 as a going concern. When we took over ownership in July 2012, Tessa already formed part of the managerial team. It was easy to settle in with Tessa in charge and business operations continued smoothly with her at the helm.

Tessa is a very well-rounded general manager and thrives in an environment with a lot of responsibilities. Duties included but were not limited to:

• PMS Booking Reservations (Semper PMS, Nightsbridge, OTA platforms)

• Supplier and agent liaison

• Supervising breakfast preparation

• Overseeing of maintenance projects
