Duties/Responsibilities

Ensuring that permit to work procedures are followed with respect work at height, hot work, confined space and lifting operations.

Conducts Tool Box meetings, Pep Talks and Conducts HSE inductions for new company employees.

Ensure the personnel are properly kited and work in a safe environment

Inspecting equipment and competency certificate for mobile crane operators.

To investigate accidents and incidents, find root cause and implement corrective action to avoid reoccurrence.

Review plans/JSA specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety requirements.
