Global Affairs (EICS II Project) Oct. 2018 – March 2019

EICS is a software that manages Export/Import of Commodities world wide. As a performance load tester, I was responsible of writing automation scripts that are run in production cycles. The automation scripts were executed using Neoload (versions 6.7 and 6.8). The setup and the configuration of the test scripts in Neoload depended on the type of performance test. There are many types of performance tests ranging from normal loads, realistic loads and extreme loads. The automation included limited exposure to java scripts. All results and bugs were managed through extensive advanced use of excel spreadsheets in addition to Team Foundation Service (TFS).

ESDC (Software Testing Coordinator) Oct. 2017 – June 2018

Canada.ca is a web page that encompasses many crown corporations. The intention is to include these corporations and whatever they entail in this web page. The development is being produced in a .net environment that includes HTML, Java Script, Jave, XML and many other programs. Testing is continuous to adapt to the agile environment. Unit tests, functional test, regression tests were all utilized as requested by management. Most of the testing is black box with some exposure to code.

Developed and deployed tools in Build Engineering and Database Development.

White box testing is applied for unit, regression and acceptance tests.

Developed, maintained and enhanced build tool scripts using Perl; in this capacity I was responsible of designing and developing the build tools - using Perl scripting language. These automated tools were used in the building processes of Cognos software that ensured agility, fast performance, and availability of the software to customers.

Quality control of produced software running unit tests and functional tests on individual modules and further integration test towards the end of product cycle. Interacting with Development, Integration, and Presales team to report/track/fix found bugs.

Contributed to the creation of a database application using Stored Procedures, Microsoft SQL 2000, PHP and java scripting, in addition to IIS and ODBC configuration, that monitors NFS machines. Knowledge of J-Query. Provided administrative support to clients of the database using Enterprise Manager.
