EXPERIENCE

Motive Creative: Theatrical A/V Associate Producer, September 2019 - March 2020

• Attend daily production meetings and new project briefs, ensuring staff across all departments have necessary updates

• Ingest/review all client assets, ensuring they are saved and shared to all necessary producers, editors, designers, etc.

o Screen all new features

o Read scripts for new features and TV shows

o Review sales/marketing material, critics’ reviews, GFX packages/explorations, etc.

• Work closely with the Creative Director, Producers, GFX Designers, and Editors to facilitate all client notes in a timely manner

• Coordinate with our GFX Creative Director to ensure GFX requests are handled across all projects

• Communicated with Assistant Editors, Finishing Department, and Post-Supervisor, ensuring all deliverable deadlines are met in a timely manner

• Client communication— take notes during calls, gather necessary specs for delivery o Handle all client calls/requests when producers are unavailable

• Communicate with off-site Music Supervisors for cues that meet client expectations/notes o Reach out to various vendors to “trailerize” music cues

• Schedule and direct any VO sessions or temp narration needed with VO Agents and VO Artists

• Handle all Producer/ Client requests and manage any notes/changes and their deadlines

• Organize all elements for each project, ensuring all deadlines are met— continuities log, spots sent, elements in, finishing deadlines, etc.

• Ensure Editors are up to date on all information; relay information/notes to Editor from Producer or Client

• Send out new cuts for Client to see/send cuts that Client has requested (for meetings, testing, focus groups, etc.)

• Coordinate with Assistant Editors to ingest all new elements received

• Coordinate to make/correct GFX, either through in-house department/outside vendor

• Schedule and read any VO sessions or temp narration

• Coordinate with Music Department to pull/help with any requests

• Update and provide finishing department with all the necessary pieces to prep and send cuts out to mix or finishing house; offlines, graphics, project collects, etc. KEY SKILLS
