DESIGNATION: Application Specialist / Systems Analyst / Business Analyst Salam Technology is a leading IT solutions and services company in Qatar. I was involved in the implementation of eVision’s ePTW (electronic permit to work system) projects as a Systems Analyst / Business Analyst at Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas and Rasgas (now part of Qatargas). I have carried out requirements gathering and analysis sessions, regression testing, acceptance testing sessions, provided training onshore and offshore (NFA – North Field Alpha, Al Morjan, Halul island). I have also successfully performed Go-Live activities for offshore facilities. Sky Vision, a sister company of Sky Cool is an advertising and printing services company in Qatar. My responsibilities as IT Support Supervisor are to provide support for identifying and setting up all IT related requirements. Maintaining and providing support for all IT related matters also falls under my responsibilities.

My Primary functions are as follows:

● Serving as the liaison between the executive and IT departments, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs and hardware resources.

Application Specialist:

● Implemented Oracle Primavera, Autodesk and other solutions to multiple clients

● Proved myself as a capable solutions and services provider for all clients with 100% success and satisfaction.

● Successfully implemented an Autodesk deployment in the Hamad International Airport.

● Implemented and maintained automated backup plans in Microsoft SQL Server with e-Mail notifications and backup testing within the Company and Clients.

● Became a member of the internal auditing team of Salam Technology and played the role of internal auditor (OHSAS 18001) for Salam Technology.

● Implemented a clustered database environment in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 for Ashghal (Public road works authority, Qatar).

Systems Analyst/Business Analyst:

● Underwent training from Application Developer (eVision) for functionality of the application and from Client side (Qatar Petroleum and RasGas) for business requirements related to e-PTW (Electronic Permit to Work) and became an expert in Oil and Gas workflows and permit applications.

● Played a major role in analysing and evaluating processes/workflow for Qatar Petroleum and RasGas ePTW implementation.

● Played a major role in the implementation, development and testing of e-PTW application for Qatar Petroleum and RasGas including training activities.

● Played a major role in developing and perfecting CBT (Computer Based Training) and various reports for e-PTW according to Qatar Petroleum standards.

● Provided training, access to e-PTW and pushed Oxy (Occidental Petroleum Corporation) personnel on Halul island from paper permits to 100% electronic permits.

● Contributed extensively to the development and implementation of e-PTW for Qatar Petroleum including making critical decisions based on the requirements from Qatar Petroleum.

● Created test cases for extremely complicated scenarios and demonstrated them to Qatar Petroleum to help understand certain functionalities and capabilities of the application.

● Conducted training sessions for Qatar Petroleum staff aboard NFA (North Field Alpha) gas production station over a course of 3 weeks.
