General Description of Role & Responsibilities:-
Ensure the Electrical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the electrical equipment’s, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements.
Approval of materials submittals, shop drawings and samples from Consultant/clients.
Review IFC & Approved Shop Drawings for takeoff quantity in order to process the Material Requisition.
Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
Preparing Material Requisition as per approved shop drawings /Good Receiving Notes / Payment Certificates for suppliers/ subcontractors as per payment terms & conditions.
Every day Site Execution work progress Monitoring & Preparation of site progress report to customer to meet customer satisfaction with proper safety at site i.e. overall site work monitoring. Provides technical and operational leadership.
Manages project issues and schedules and attend all technical meetings (Internal meetings, meetings with the main contractor or with the consultant).
Responsible for site inspection and preparing reports and documentation of site inspection.
Managing the project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of project targets within the time and cost parameters.
Works with technicians and engineers developing and testing equipment and systems.
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
Co-ordination with design team & consultants and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups at site to execute the project.
Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients.
Perform other duties as assigned by the MEP, Construction and/or Project Manager as needed.
Submits Monthly Invoices & commercial variations for final approval.
Assists in the supervision of engineering, budgeting, and scheduling.
To maintained Project files for all Documents and Drawings,
Daily and whenever required to conduct Site Inspection to check work compliance to Design Intent, Quality of works and Site Coordination issues if any.
Prepare Project Close-out Documents like As Built Drawings, project completion reports including operation and maintenance manuals and SPIRs (Spare Parts Interchange Ability Record).
Reviewing Material Submittal / Shop drawings, Preparing RFI, Material Tracking Logs, Work Inspection request (WIR), Material Inspection Request (MIR), Sample Inspection Request (SIR).
To review all the Electrical & ELV Design, Supply, installation, testing & Commission and Handover to the Client / Consultant, maintain as specified in the contract documents and obtain approval from the client/ consultant including all Material &supervision.
