Rig Welder

CEDA/Clear stream Energy, Cenovus foster creek Jan/16 to current (Construction contract change part way through)

Fabricate 1/2” to 24” pipe spools in the shop, as well in high lines and live facilities.

Remove and install new piping with fitters.

Fabrication Duplex SS TIG all the way out ( ' to 12”)

CWB structural welding

Fabrication of 6” pipe line, working with crawler operators, and completing tie ins on FG pipeline tie in.

Assisted fitters with pipeline PIG sending, Pipeline hydro, and Pipeline drying.

Proficient knowledge with step out extensions to wellheads on welding Rota / Flex Balls

Setting pile caps and structural supports for pad extensions with fitters.

Running string lines and assisting with new pad dimensions with fitters.

Cutting apart pressure vessel sight glasses and welding up to 1 1/2” thick vessel patches under site specific procedures.

Assisted fitters with Tandem crane lift to install 136,000LBS propane vessel.

Receiving materials for fabrication and cross referencing MTR’s for proper materials specs.

Regular maintenance of Newly built Phase F area once start up occurred.

Experience with Steam economizer shell repairs and rebuilds due to erosion.

Reworking steam generator piping, shock tubes return bends mirror welds, all 100% x-ray B31.1 boiler code.

Experienced, and skilled at critical welding in very tight, awkward, challenging locations.

Meet, advise, and consult with field integrity group, quality control, and various other Cenovus representatives on repair plans and safe ways to proceed on work orders and work to be done.

Fabricating spools, flying piping in tight areas with cranes, transferring spools through the rack with use of multiple coma longs and chain falls to destinations for TP bolt up and position welds.

Heavy lifts assisting iron workers and welding structural when needed.

Responsibility included maintenance of coker units, sulfur extraction, primary/secondary upgrading plants.

Bolting up / Fabricate of stainless, carbon, and chrome piping to fit to existing piping in the field or new systems.

Experienced with pipe fitting in the field, changing filters, blinding, and using SABA equipment to break flanges.

Responsible for using high torque equipment, deblinding, inspecting and assessing field repairs

Provide leadership to workers/ fitters and liaison with foreman other trades and operators
