B.Tech Project:

Title: “Applications of plastic waste mixed Black Cotton soil in Geotechnical Engineering”.

Abstract: Black cotton soils are expansive in nature and stands as a challenging material for various applications in Civil Engineering. Therefore, stabilization of Black cotton soils is essential and plastic waste is used to understand its effect in enhancing properties like Shear strength and penetration resistance. Varying amounts of plastic waste are taken and tests like UCS, CBR are performed to understand its potential applications in pavements and embankments.

M.Tech Project:

Title: “Runout analysis using Material Point Method”. Abstract: Dynamic simulation of runout landslides is essential for assessment, prevention and mitigation of landslide induced disasters. But it is difficult for traditional Numerical methods like Finite Element Method (FEM), Finite Difference Method (FDM) for large deformation problems. The Material Point Method (MPM) developed recently is a Mesh-free technique and has enormous advantages in managing problems involving very large deformation problems like landslides and slope stability problems. Strengths:
