I have an associated diploma in medical imaging sciences. I am licensed to work in an imaging department and I have extensive knowledge of the machines and equipment used to take and develop the images. I have five years experience working with CT scans, diagnostic imaging, X Ray, ultrasound mammography, dental imaging machines. I know and understand the safety issues associated with this type of technology and I always use radiation protection and follow safety protocols.

I also have the skills to follow the directions of the physician to ensure I get the correct images needed and I know how to position the patients in order to get the clearest picture possible. I also have the ability to perform the administrative side of this position, which includes organizing the work schedule and maintaining accurate records.
