Onsite Work : Worked in Headquarter R. Stahl Schaltgeräte Gmbh, GERMANY for a period of 1yr (Jan 2017 to Dec 2017) in a special Projects.

Company Profile: Manufacturers of Explosion Protection Devices for hazardous areas like oil & Petroleum industries, Pharmaceutical industries etc. Parts supplied such as Terminal Box, junction Box, Light Fittings, Control Stations, Ecolux, Marine Flood lights etc.

Responsibility:

Involved in Department of R&D, creation of New Product development.

Direct the preparation of design concepts to meet product specifications

Handling the Team, Allocation of Task, monitoring, achieving the target within the Stipulated Time, Setting up KRA’s., Time sheet preparation.

Product like, new and existing development of Switchgear, Flameproof Enclosure and Lighting Equipment for oil, refinery& heavy Industries.

Selection of LED lights, wattages, Driver, Heat sink based on CFD output, Heat flow Analysis, Temperature solid/fluid, velocity, air flow, Thermal stress.

Simulation study (stress analysis, Factor of safety) carried out for designing components and optimization done for the product enhancement.

Incorporating manufacturing details such as material specification, surface finish, GD&T, Stack up Analysis etc.

Validating product by prototype models, sample Evaluation, Real Time testing.

Following Kaizen Activities for the Continuous Improvement.

Preparation of FMEA process for the new product.

Using International and National standard for designing the product. The standards Includes DIN, IECEx, IS/IEC60079-0,1, BIS, ATEX, EN, UL.

Good Acquired Knowledge on Zone classification, Ex d Standards, IP Ratings.

Develop detailed solid models and drawings (considering design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for solutions using solid works.

Selection and specifying materials to satisfy design intent while minimizing cost.

Applying theoretical knowledge of design and mechanical engineering principles to solutions.

Preparing product cost (PC2) & negotiation with supplier for achieving Target cost.

Managing product life cycle and Engineering change Management.
