Assist and improve the process of manufacturing and selling angular contact ball bearings.
Track, log, and reduce cycle times in assigned channels through the use of machine setting registers to increase production.
Locate and replace tooling when assigned channels run out of parts needed for production.
Test honing stones of various sizes, grit counts, and material composition to reduce cycle time and cost in channels.
Add necessary part numbers to the laser etching database (Zaniboni) for Final Assembly channel.
Organize and streamline Kardex storage system for experimental channel.
Make necessary improvements to assigned channels in order to accommodate new part sizes moving from old channel.
Reduce costs of tooling and maintenance through the use of various engineering techniques and processes.
Generate savings of over $5,000 a month through the use of 3D printing to replace existing parts with cheaper but more durable and better designed parts in a timeframe that is much faster and cheaper than outsourcing the same work to existing vendors.
Lead on project to create and implement a 3D printing lab in the facility to further reduce costs and replace existing tooling with superior and cheaper designs
Research existing 3D printing technologies to find the best possible printers for company needs.
