UNILEVER - LEVER BROTHERS COMPANY, Hammond, IN

Manufacturing Manager – Contract Manufacturing)

Led Lever’s outside manufacturing operations including managing of 20 contract manufacturing locations producing approximately 20 million cases. Total budget including materials and conversion cost was $150MM. Provided leadership for a high performance team of 10 professionals. Responsibilities included the sourcing strategy and decision making, negotiations, production start-up, quality, materials management and financial management.

Performed sourcing consolidations resulting in annual savings of over $6MM.

Planned and executed the successful start-up of 5 new products including powder and liquid detergents, fabric softeners, liquid soaps and body wash.

Supply Chain Manager

Managed the plant production scheduling and materials planning, warehouse operation and shipping, and purchasing. Supervised 3 managers, 6 supervisors, and 50 hourly operators.
