Performs chemical analysis & interprets test results and assesses their compliance; forwards the results

Chemical as well as physical testing / inspection and control of finished products to ensure consistent quality product.

Organize for testing, inspection and control of all income, in process finished products and raw materials.

Identify, analyze and resolve problems and issues with quality assurance and control during production process.

Verifies analytical reports:

Monitor the lab results and guide for corrective actions. Documentations & Process Management:

Work planning & Documentation according to SOP/WCM/ISO.

Immediate notification to the Head of Assurance of any Environment &Quality Control issues.

Periodically conducting Internal Audits to assess the status of deployment of systems and take corrective measures for achieving laboratory objectives.

Maintains operations data and prepares productivity/quality reports for management.

Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of Quality control equipment. Ensure readiness of standby equipment for improvement of equipment availability

Immediate notification to the Head of Assurance of any Quality Control issues

Communicates with other managers to coordinate operations and activities.

Participate in implementation of Quality Systems like QMS, EMS & OHSAS through employee involvement for continuous improvement for the plant. House Keeping / Safety:

Organize and maintain good housekeeping at workplace. Ensure 100% implementation of safety management systems.

Work well with the followings as per IS Standards. Effluent Water analysis -: pH, SS, TS, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, Total hardness, Chloride, Free Chlorine, Alkalinity, Acidity, Sulhpate and other heavy metal ions like Zn, Mg, & Ca etc. Drinking Water-: Complete analysis.

Gas Analysis-: Complete Gas analysis of Ammonia Plant. Urea Analysis-: Complete analysis of In-process sample of Urea plant & Final Urea Product. Cooling Tower Water-: pH, Hardness, Chloride, (PO4)3-, SiO2, NH3,SO4, Zn etc. Boiler-: Complete analysis of Saturated & Continues blow Down Steams Complete analysis. Coal Analysis-: Moisture, Volatile matter, Ash, Fixed carbon, CV (Calorific Value), Porosity. Lime (Stone & hydrated lime) -: Moisture, Acid insoluble, Available lime, Sieve test. Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) -: Chloride as NaCl, Water insoluble, Alkali as Ca(OH)2, Calcium as CaCl2, Iron. Gas analysis-: Estimation of CS2, H2S, SO2 through Vent, Gas Mixture for H2S & CS2 in CS2 Plant, Gas analysis by Stack Klaus Kiln.
