Duties and Responsibilities

Develop a thorough knowledge of company’s products and their correct usage.

Provide an advice and answer questions from telephonic customers about correct ordering of products, prices, availability and correct product usage.

Assisting customers with queries, quotes and product knowledge.

Receive and greet walk in customers, server “While U Wait” customers.

Answering switchboard, assist with general queries.

Answer customer queries and orders/help customer resolve problems in respect of orders, drafts and submit quotes via telephone, facsimile or E-mail and follow up on quotes.

Transmit other information or documents to customers using E-mail and/or via facsimile.

Develop friendly business relationships with regular customers

Invoicing/ receipts and payments

Assume responsibility for the cash register on a daily basis.

Accept all payments received by the company and record receipts on the computer invoice system.

Manage and capture petty cash payments.

Prepare reconciliation of money on hand for the Director and prepare banking for management.

Inform customers of estimated delivery time, warranties, or other information pertaining to the purchased products.

Stock taking/ items, receive all items returned and enter all stock purchases/ deductions into computer invoicing system.

Ensuring front desk is neat and tidy on a daily basis.
