National Honors Society twice; district and regional cross-country; presidented MU’s running club for two years; German language general and business-specific international tests passed in 1998 and 1999.
2003 CCS thesis model exhibited at NAIAS 2004;
EExhibited on the East Austin Studio Tour three times, picked as a top-ten must-see photographer in 2011. Designed toys for Hasbro and Lucasfilm and Activision’s Skylanders. Painted a picture for the king of Bahrain’s personal 747. Been the best dad that he can be.
Designed, built, and flown a sailplane that seats three, with gear, that can fly from Tierra del Fuego to Anchorage with the engine oš 90% of the time.

Through years of working at high-profile design
consultancies, I’ve had the good fortune to
work on projects for clients from Fortune 100
companies to fresh startups, designing
products, brands, and experiences that made
lots of people’s lives better, easier, more
productive, and more fun. From cars to
co computers, interfaces, identities, medical
equipment, consumer electronics products,
professional equipment, design strategy,
architecture, infographics, presentations, toys,
working with production engineers, design
language guidelines, design research, video,
and even a bidet.. I’ve done it.
HHere are some of the names you might be
familiar with: Dell, Microsoft, Nike, HP,
Alienware, Sonos, Activision, AJA Video
Systems, Revolv, Intel. I’ve been the design
director, principle designer, project manager,
design lead, client contact, and creative director, coordinating teams of people, and doing the
wo work to create good design and make it real,
with all the amazing tools we have at our hands
and making sure that everyone’s on board.
Managed internal teams and external partners.
Negotiated contracts. Hired and fired. Scoped
projects and personnel. Done some damn good
work.
Delivered the goods.
