My responsibilities included remarketing off lease heavy truck, vocational truck and vocational and specialty equipment fleet for ARI's leasing programs and major fleets throughout United States, Canada and Mexico.

My responsibilities included equipment valuation for new leasing contracts, fleet value analysis and calculating bids for the Buy Direct fleet purchase program.

A major conquest account in my first year with ARI involved the acquisition of the FedEx fleet management and remarketing. Initially they gave me a test of 500 package vans to remarket, we passed the test; then 500 tractors to remarket, we passed the test; then 500 trailers, we passed the test. Then FedEx challenged us with the Airport Ground Support Equipment, which I had never sold before and FedEx had previously scrapped. We had to work with the IT staffs from ARI and FedEx to develop an inventory control and standard identification protocol before we could move a single piece of equipment. I then had to develop new sales channels because the vehicle and equipment auctions and wholesalers and dealer network we had developed for vehicles and equipment had never handled this type of equipment, let alone volume of equipment we were preparing to release onto the market. Our plan was successful and ARI is still utilizing the programs and markets I developed during this conquest.

The most significant fleet acquisition and liquidations I was tasked with managing were the Sunoco, Sunoco Eagle Point and Hess Refinery shutdown liquidations near Philadelphia and the 35,000 unit Hostess Bakery bankruptcy and liquidation which we completed from our purchasing bid to sell out in less than six months.

The most significant Fleet liquidations that I managed while at State Line was the Adelphia Cable Systems bankruptcy and the Halsted Communications DirecTV franchises fleet liquidation.

Terminal Operations Management included all personnel management duties which entailed hiring, firing, reviews, scheduling of a terminal dock and office staff of up to twenty people who unloaded trailers and loaded trucks in a morning and evening sort every day for local delivery in the morning and hub line haul in the evening.

Successfully grew terminal from just four drivers initially to nearly twenty drivers delivering packages throughout Western Massachusetts handling just over one thousand packages per day initially to over six thousand packages during peak season before I moved to a different position with Matthews.
