Lead OML-24 oil block integrated reservoir studies to optimize field development plans (FDP).
Senior project lead overseeing the design, construction, updating, history matching and validation of OML-24 complex sandstone reservoirs.
Lead the construction and implementation of an integrated system and process automation (ISPA) for well and reservoir management.
Championed the identification of quick-wins strings/well candidates for immediate - short term oil generation.
Trained, coached, mentored and transferred knowledge in general.
Key Achievements:
Identified 6 well candidates with post intervention oil production gain of 4523 bopd (12% increase in total production) in year 2019.
Added 12 wells to the opportunity basket with a potential gain of 14,000 bopd using ISPA. Year 2019.
Secured approvals from joint venture partners and management for the drilling of 6 wells over a period of 2 years after a convincing FDP.
Reservoir Engineer (II) (Apr 2016 – Jan 2018)
Key Responsibilities:
Trusted with commerciality assessment of oil generation investment using discounted cash flow and economic indicators.
Organized and direct reservoir surveillance operations and analyze surveillance data & results for informed decision.
Generates data acquisition programs which involves pressure surveys, PLTs, RST, MDT, etc. for effective well and reservoir management.
Key Achievements:
Saved over $3.5m dollars from commerciality assessment of well intervention projects out of the large portfolio of opportunity wells.
Gained faster history match and dynamic model calibration time (from 9hrs to 33 minutes) through appropriate data acquisition program and advanced workflow, saving time and man hours.
Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Nigeria Ltd., Lagos, Nigeria Aug 2014 - Mar 2016
Reservoir Engineer (II)
Key Responsibilities:
