Analysing the current methods of site supervision and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for implemented project quality plan.

Extending the maximum possible efforts to avoid contractor(s) claims for cost and/or delay.

Attending site technical coordination meetings and discuss contractor

(s) submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction related matters and liaise with the project supervision team and contractor staff to coordinate and resolve any issues of concern.

Implementation of all quality audits, surveillance audits and work with site team for resolution of non-conformance issues.

Liaising with site management for the effective implementation of the quality management systems and site supervision provision activities.

Assisting the site team in the satisfactory close out of the project including snagging / desnagging of the works and related documentation prior initial handing over and (TOC) issuance.

Reviewing and approve the contractor's submissions for operations & maintenance manuals and checking / confirming the availability maintenance material stock quantities as per contract requirements considering all to be stored as directed by the client.

Review and assist the project team to compile all documents at handing-over for submission to the Client and assist the site management for the issuance of the Taking-Over Certificate.

Liaise with the Statutory Authorities for final inspection approvals.

Project ( 1 ) : Construction Of MAAFARU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT– Abu Dhabi Fund for Development – MAAFARU Island - Noonu Atoll - Republic of Maldives - Cost : 300,00 Million Dirhams.

Project Description : This project comprises of 2200 meter runway, taxiways, Apron with shoulder and Service roads to accommodate and provide all services to the Airbus A320-200. The project also included the construction of equipment maintenance steel hangar, speed boat docking steel hangar, construction of a jetty in order to serve the adjacent islands and a VIP private jetty; the project also includes construction of the airport administrative & terminal buildings and an airport hotel. The project comprises of 3 High rise residential towers with different heights and floor nos. which are as follow : Tower A - 20 floors, Tower B - 16 floors and Tower C - 18 floors with post tension slab system except the last two floors for each tower were assigned and furnished for the towers equipped services with flat slab system.

All Towers are connected with 2 podium floors that divided into stores, shops, gym, cafes, and food courts and below the podium floors 2 basement levels for parking covering the plot area. The covering slab for second podium floor was a heavy transfer solid slab with huge width and depth for beams to resist towers loads.

The project foundation system was 2 and 2.2 meters thickness for raft foundation below towers only where as the raft thickness between towers & below podium area was 0.8 meter supported by tension piles with 0.6 meter dia to carry the tension force caused by the uplift.
