Responsibilities:

Interface with customers (TML, SML, FML, VECVL, MTBD) to get design inputs

Translate design requirements into design outputs for in-house developed projects, verify adequacy of existing design and modify, if required

Support customer for mating harness finalization

Coordinate and support SDI/ MSE/ NP/ Marketing/ QA/ Manufacturing units for product development

Provide support to Vehicle Development Team for carrying out ABS validation

Obtain subjective sign-off from internal and external customers for carrying out validation in vehicle

Support customer for vehicle level homologation testing of products

Support production unit for flashing of EHCU's in vehicle or bench before dispatch to customer

Support customer for Assembly Line Trials - E&F, EOL

Prepare Risk Analysis, TGW, TGR documents

Prepare and manage project files to meet IATF16949 requirements

Support customer/ service/ QA for field and line issues

Review and adhere to new product development to meet timeline commitments in design and development activities

Prepare product development reports

Projects:

Development of Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) testing kit for Assembly line check

Identify various faults in the WSS and display the type of fault on LCD

Develop hardware and software for detecting the type of WSS fault

Provide audible and visual alerts for WSS Pass/ Fail indication

Deploy the box at Assembly line and Customer end for any failure check Development and Installation of Wiring harness for ABS Calibration of Proto vehicles

Develop the wiring harness according to the length of the vehicle

Install and route the wiring harness on the vehicle and interconnect the wiring harness, MIL controller, Malfunction Indicator Lamps and other signals required by the ABS ECU.

Verify signals, nearness of Wheel speed values and vehicle speed using the DMX logger Preparation of ECU schematic for 2 Wheeler ABS (2WABS) development

Soldering TH (Through Hole), SM (Surface Mount) components for motor driver development, testing various motor faults

Preparation of ECU schematic for 2WABS development using Altium Designer and BOM release Installation of Mobileye procured ADAS in Fleet Management Company trucks, trailers and SUV's

Mobileye 630 product installation in SUV's, Sedans and Mobileye Shield + product installation in trucks, trailers and buses.

Main camera, rear camera installation and calibration using TAC board, Blind spot detection and main camera displays installation for visual and audio alerts

Modification of Mobileye alert sound using an external serial mp3 player, PAM 8403 amplifier, 2W speakers and Arduino to provide non-irritable sounds. Development of hardware and software for the above.

CURRICULUM PROJECTS:

Analysis of Partial discharge (PD) characteristics of liquid insulation in a transformer under forced circulation using closed loop control system

PD data is obtained and sent to a logic circuit, where the PD data are analysed.

If the data acquired indicates a high PD value, it sends out a signal to a control circuit connected with the electrical pump.

This control circuit will regulate the speed of the electrical pump based on the logic circuit’s output, which will further optimize the flow of oil inside the tank.

This will partially relieve the stressed portion of insulation by dispersing the impurities thereby regulating the intensity of PD. Circulation of liquid insulation leads to the reduction of PD in the transformer.
