EMPLOYMENT

MEDICAL ESTHETICIAN July 2019

Massage Sway to March 2020

During my employment at Massage Sway, I gained extensive experience in the esthetics field, learning and perfecting skills such as the Hydrafacial, medical grade chemical peels, and treatments like microdermabrasion. I also gained a lot of practical experience, including managing clients of all types, spa duties, cleanliness protocols, and product sales. I excelled in product sales at Massage Sway and ranked number one salesperson every single month of my employment. I consistently sold

$4,000 - $5,000 worth of products every month. While there, I built a loyal clientele who repeatedly requested me each time they came in for a treatment. I grew very accustomed to being able to determine not only what a client’s skin needed from a service, but also what the client was looking to accomplish with the treatment. In doing so, I was able to create a realistic treatment plan that would make my clients happy. My primary goal is always to have a client walk out of the spa seeing a visible difference in their skin, feeling confident about themselves, and being educated about their skin and its needs. I was always very successful in that endeavor.

INTERN/STUDENT ESTHETICIAN August 2018

Ann Webb Skin Clinic to April 2019

I gained unique experience at Ann Webb Skin Clinic on both the administrative side and the esthetics side. In my role as an intern, I worked on administrative tasks such as: working at check in/check out; managing product stocking and inventory; selling product; and treatment room organization and sterilization. I was also an apprentice to Ann Webb in her cosmetic injection appointments and I was given private laser hair removal instruction by Sam Webb as a reward for going “above and beyond” in my work. In addition, I worked as a student esthetician performing facials and modalities on over 50 clients, receiving only fantastic client and instructor reviews.

HONEY QUEEN & HONEY PRINCESS (Official Spokesperson and Brand Ambassador) December 2014 Williamson County Area Beekeepers Association to February 2017 The job of a Honey Queen/Princess is to educate people. I traveled around Texas as a spokesperson and brand ambassador for this beekeeping organization, bringing attention to the growing issue of bee population decreases and teaching people about bees and their importance to our environment. In addition, I wrote a monthly column for our WCABA Newsletter, where I researched and wrote about various important topics regarding bees, honey, and beekeeping. I created a blog, BusyBeeChic.com, where I posted my articles and documented my experiences. I met thousands of people from all different walks of life and I became well versed in building personal relationships and educating adults and children alike. Kids loved me and looked to me as a role model. My training from this position has given me experience in: public relations, dealing with adverse situations, educating underprivileged children and interacting with politicians and people of authority. I made many public appearances, including riding in parades at The State Fair of Texas. I conducted honey tastings, participated in honey judging, and gave cooking demonstrations at conventions, meetings, and other events and venues such as The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, The State Fair of Texas, and the Texas Beekeepers Association (TBA) State Convention. I manned honey booths and beekeeping booths for both WCABA and TBA at numerous markets and fairs where I promoted their brands and organizations; I provided auction assistance; and I visited many classrooms to educate children about bees. In addition, I received my Apprentice Master Beekeeper certification – I was the first Honey Queen in Texas to do this and now they require all the honey queens to do so. I also created my own beauty brand, Busy Bee Chic, and products made from beeswax and other natural ingredients.
