Ensure that all materials and equipment incorporated into permanent construction comply with the contract requirements.

Ensures that Engineer’s approval and / or required factory or supplier compliance certificates have been obtained upon delivery of available materials at the project site.

Coordinate with the QC Manager regarding work performance and shall immediately bring to the attention of QA Manager by issuing a Field Observation Report (FIOR) in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected, and shall obtain approval from the QA Manager to close out NCR upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

Attend Pre-Installation (Kick-off) meetings as required with Sub-contractors as arranged by Procurement Manager / department.

Stopping of portion or whole that does not comply with the approved plans and project specifications and standards.

Inspection of Civil and Structural Works such as retrofitting, drilling and installation embedded items, anchor bolts, and dowels, laying of water proofing materials, installation of rebar and formworks, and surface preparation prior to concrete pouring or grouting.

Inspection of Architectural Works such as substrate preparation and application, thickness determination, and pull-off test of Spray Fire Resistive Materials (SFRM), substrate preparation and painting/coating of drywalls & concrete floor finish

Conduct, monitor and witness bolt tightening test and pull-out test for embedded items and anchor bolts.

Attend QC Tour with Client, Engineer and Inspectors and discuss site issues.
