QUALITY INSPECTOR
Perform dimensional tolerances per the drawing on various parts.(Gate slabs, shear bolt, poppet springs)
Create NCR on parts that have out of tolerance dimensions on SAP system.
Check the MTR’S provided with the parts meet the company’s material specification such as chemical, mechanical properties and hardness test.
Check the hardness range stated on the MTR’S meets the company Spec per ASTM E10, E18 $E140 standards.
Check the BOM revision level and the one stamped on the parts are the latest revision.
Check hardness test on seal rings, O-rings using a durometer per ASTM D2240, mold numbers is stamped and cone for the size per the material specification.
Check the BOP Valves per the drawing for thread size and stamping is correctly done.
Ensure the vendor provides all the MTR’S called out for in the I.P and material specification such as NDE, mechanical, chemical, magnetic particle and hardness certs.
