EMPLOYMENT
Henderson Wealth Management – SVP Client Experience (March 2020 – Present)
I joined Henderson Wealth Management in a client service capacity. Working with a small, independent company it has given me a great grounding on multiple areas within the wealth management process. To name a few responsibilities:
- Maintaining and filing record keeper agreements
- Dealing with Client’s requests
- Created and ran sales process for prospective Clients
- Mastered various marketing tools to aid creation of new business
- Using CRM to manage and maintain strong client relationships
- Managed social media for the company
Working at Henderson Wealth Management has given me a holistic view of the way wealth management companies operate.
Relocation to United States (March 2018 – February 2020)
I relocated from the UK to the US to live with my partner. I moved to live with her in 2018 and started the Visa application process, during which time I was not eligible to work. I was in the fortunate position that I could live without working during the Visa application process which gave me time to study for the Investment Management Certificate. I was keen to ensure that I was still making progress towards my career in financial services/investment management, even if I was not able to be employed. Now that my Visa has been approved, I am eligible to work within the US without need for sponsorship from my employer and am actively seeking a position to progress with my career.
