Set up and monitored operation of over six types of machines including Horizontal turning lathes, Induction Hardening and Broaching Machines as per the Standard Operating Procedure(SOP).

Inspected Manufactured components for defects using measuring instruments. Trouble shooting and repairing equipment when not working properly addition to identifying root causes of problems and take corrective actions. Creates instructions for Co-worker.

Participate in team s continuous improvement initiatives. Perform Preventive maintenance and Safety Guidelines. Operate CNC machines performing various machining processes such as Turning, Boring, Milling, Reaming, Drilling, Grooving, Broaching and Honing. Verify the component meets set up customer specifications per written work instructions and process sheet.

Balance the immediate workload recognizing when help is needed and when to be the team player to dig right and assist.

Change tooling when necessary.

Worked in Development Team (May’16- Oct’16)

Worked as Development production engineer for Manufacturing the Crankshaft Pulley component.

From this I got trained on CAD Drawings with GD&T and 2&3-axis setter. Manage and Control the whole manufacturing component. Achieved zero PPM and zero Customer Quality Defects, Maintaining 6S and Kaizen.

Electrically Operated Supercharger

Description: The supercharger is made to run using the electric current produced from the alternator instead of the engine’s crankshaft. During suction stroke of engine, the supercharger forces the air to increase air pressure which provides effective combustion. Thus reduce fuel consumption and increase mechanical efficiency of the four strokes Diesel Engine. Main Project:

Fabrication of Air Brake System Using Engine Exhaust Gas Team Size: 4

Description: A Turbine rotates by exhaust gas from the engine to produce electricity using a generator and it is stored in a battery. The stored electric power is loaded to the D.C compressor and the compressed air is used to operate pneumatic cylinder through solenoid value to apply brake.
