Reliance Power is a leading Power manufacturing company in India.

RPower subsidized company Rosa Power Supply Company Limited 4x300MW & VIPL Butibori Nagpur 2x300MW is designed by Shanghai Electrical Company, China.

Power plant having SEC make BTG set.

Turbine with double cylinder, double exhaust, and condensing type.

DEH Governing system.

Hydrogen Cooled Generator.

Boiler with Natural circulation, corner fired with Coal, LDO fuel used.

Maximum steam flow rate at BMCR 1015t/h

SIGNIFICANT HIGHLIGHTS:-

Experience in the commissioning & operation

I have worked for the overall Commissioning of Boiler & Turbine like Chemical Cleaning, Hydro-Test, Flue gas Path readiness, Steam Blowing, and Interlock checking of control v/v, MOV’s trial, Lube Oil Flushing, ATT of Boiler & various other activities.

Experience of COD’s, Cold Start Up, Warm Start Up, Hot Start Up, Plant Trips, High Pressure Pumps, High Pressure Mills, Heavy Discharge Fans, High Capacity Compressors, & High & Low Pressure Heaters.

Steam Blowing activity of a 2 x 600 MW unit (make – SEC, China) at DVC Raghunathpur (West Bengal) site, an EPC project of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. In January 2014.

BOP systems commissioning including Cooling water system, Auxiliary cooling water, Raw water, Fuel oil handling system, Air compressor, Fire protection systems.

I am a part of the Operations Team of Unit I which is credited with the achievement of continuous operation of the unit for 310 days, which is a record in ADAG group.

WORK RESPONSIBILITITES:-

Good experience in handling Emergency conditions, unit trip and can handle the plant during Black out conditions.

Active participation from starting of unit up to COD and stabilization of unit.

Carry out Unit start-up & shut down activities as per SOP.

Close monitoring of all performance process parameters and optimize all performance parameters if any deviation observed with desk engineer.

Having good Knowledge on Fire Protection System Operation.

BTG site overall responsibility and housekeeping activities

Preparing, issue and cancellation of permits during regular operation and unit shutdowns.

Good knowledge & experience on TPM (Total productive maintenance). Following up mechanical isolation & ensuring safety measures during activities.

Involving in preparation of safe operating procedures for the Commissioning & operational activities.

Conducting the scheduled and emergency changeovers for reliable and smooth plant operation.

Ensuring reporting of defects during normal running condition.

Maintaining the safe workplace by reporting of incidents during running condition.

Handling Mechanical and Electrical isolation of various Equipments and drives as per Lockout & Tag out procedure.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Post Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from NPTI Nagpur.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College. Ambikapur (C.G.)
