Deeply understand the 3GPP protocols, call follow, features’ functionality for WCDMA, LTE, IOT and 5G networks.
Tested Mobile devices under 3G and LTE networks to check device’s behavior and performance for basic and advanced network functions for android and iOS such as voice MOM ( mean opinion score), audio and video quality, 64QAM modulation, MIMO.
Tested Pre commercial launch of iPhones handsets, collected devices ’s performance logs and shared with Apple’s R&D for troubleshooting the iOS for defect such in emergency call malfunction.
Used the tools such as TEMS, QXDM, QCAT, QPST, TEMS Discovery, Actix, and MapInfo for RF drive test and diagnostic analysis. Cross matched issues from RF drive test with OMC counters for further breakdown analysis and troubleshooting.
Analyzed L3 in depth call flow and signaling protocol such as RRC, call est, and call initiation, MIMO,CA and etc..
Used Spirent F4L for testing the end user experience for voice and data performance such as Call Drop, Call setup, UDP,HTTP/FTP, MOS( Mean Opinion Score) on 3G, LTE and VOLTE networks
Used spectrum analyzer to conduct spectrum scanning and identified the interference source
Implemented RAN parameter optimization, RF troubleshooting, nominal site design, RF customer complaints assessment for coverage and quality
Extracted KPIs from Netact & PRS, prepared reports and presented weekly RF performance report and optimization projects’ progress for network director and CTO
Conducted TRX re-suffusing in order to remove TRX from low utilized cell/sites and shifted to congested cell for entire network, decreased congestion from 1.3% to 0.4%, saved 200 TRX to avoid new CAPEX requirement
Implemented new RAN features/techniques to improve the KPIs and end user experience such as DC-HSDPA, dynamic CQI feedback to cope with high RTWP. Improved HSUPA speed by 5% and HSDPA by 10%
Dealing with different vendors and Managed Service partners for projects and KPI issues
Monitored and fixed coverage issues after swapping single band antenna to tri band in LTE project implementation
Conducted Indoor coverage assessment and given recommendation for indoor solutions for business areas, airports, corporate customer offices
