JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for planning of raw materials to composer( steel, Brass, Copper, Engineering plastics) commodities, power supplies, finished components.

Responsible for materials functions, including master scheduling, production control, customer service, and logistics functions

Resolving all MRP meeting problem with sourcing, quality, engineering, store and production team for reduce production loss.

Working with the Materials Manager and Director of Production to thoroughly understand and advise on managing short term/long term capacities to minimize the cause for past due orders and material shortages .

Oversaw Materials and office team operations.

Ensure material availability all the time as per plan of daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.

Effective and proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet purchase requirements.

Established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current.

Hands experience in Managing store stock, Purchase order Management, Procurement, Price negotiation with suppliers.

Skilled in negotiating, managing and delivering positive results during time-critical budget-restraint assignments.

Importing of materials by issuing Purchase orders, following up with the import vendor and clearing the materials from customs by preparing the documents & duty calculations.

Follow up for stock movement Evaluating Supplier performance, maintaining strong vendor relationships ensuring on-time payment to suppliers managing internal customer demand Work with Transport.

Coordinating with clearing forwarding agent for receipt and transportation of material to the factory Designing and developing material movement templates and reports for enhancing visibility of material flow.

Coordinate with Vendors for dispatch/shipments of our ordered goods measuring premium freight and taking necessary actions to maintain zero premium shipment maintaining records of goods ordered and received.#

PREVIOUS JOB PROFILE:

To work as a production officer in engine assembly & testing dept. and accomplishing the plan v/s actual of V-Types Engines (Locomotive Engines, Construction Engines, Gensets Engines, Marine Engines etc.).

Plan and execute FMEA to minimize quality defects and ensure to do it right the first-time approach.

Provide daily updates to senior management within a production and supply chain meeting environment via video teleconferencing.

Maintaining & Implementation of TPM, Line balancing,5S, Poka-yoke, Kaizen, Cycle time through brainstorming with team on shop floor at Department level

Coordinating with PPC, logistics, Process, Maintenance and QA for production with no loss .

Seeks ways to improve cycle time and other KPIs. Is at ease with facts-based problem-solving tools, such as Root Cause Analysis (5Why’s, A3…) Ensuring that products are produced and dispatched on time delivery and complete with quality guidelines.

To lead the assembly line and sub-assembly to fulfill demands of production, delivery, quality and other tasks.

Responsible to update the data of Daily Work Management (DWM) - as per PQCDSM targets.

Preparing & monitoring of tooling, loading of manpower, multiskilled matrix skills and absenteeism of the manpower on daily basis.

Plan for availability of consumables; raise requisition for consumables from stores monitor the stocks levels in section.

Ensure proper shop floor and machine/equipment hygiene.

Fill up the shift report at the end of the shift and update efficiency records for all the operators in the shift.

Keep tracking of shift list and deployment of the manpower as per plan and multiskilling matrix and discussed with team in MOM meeting on daily basis.

Conducting SOPs, BBS, for safety audits once in week & maintaining the document related OHSAS:18001 standard.

KIAZENS & PROJECT:

Implement two bin system for issuing the bulk parts for assembly.

Ergonomics projects, Reduced Excess inventory of 3 crores, Leading Safety indicator (STF).

Intra Kan Ban project for reduce line side bulk item.

I was a key player in POKAYOKE at THERMOSTATE station for resolve VALVE missing issue.

Took on the challenge of generate WOMEN FRIENDLY STAION at station INJECTOR,PISTON SET,OIL PAN and GEAR TIMMING.
