SPRINGWELL’S WATER TREATMENT PLANT: Resident project representative for the construction.

Observation of construction activities and interaction with contractors daily and writing field reports.

Reviewing all the shop drawings for the project and making sure the contractor is using the right equipment and materials specified in the design.

Responding to all Rfi’s provided by the contractor.

To continuously observe and confirm that all the installation requirements are met.

Managing paperwork and project documentation.

COW-RETENTION BASIN: To design ventilation to the basin and Hvac to other buildings.

Designed proper ventilation to the basin required during maintenance by following the NFPA and 10 states standards.

Designed Carbon filter Odor control system to remove H2s gas in the basin produced during watering, dewatering and storage of combined sewer.

Calculated the heating and cooling load calculations using the Trane Trace 700 load program for electrical room and control room.

To provide cooling for electrical and control rooms, split air condition system is selected.

Gas unit heaters are used to provide heating for the electrical room, control room, storage room and all the stairwells of the basin

Gas pipe sizing is done by following the International Fuel Gas Code.

All Duct work is designed, and necessary duct losses and static pressure are calculated.

All the cad drawings are drawn by using Autocad 2D software 2017.

All details, schematics, piping layout and specifications required for the project are done.

9 MILE PUMP STATION: To design ventilation to the new rooms for the existing pump station.

Pump station requires a new electrical room, hydraulic room and the storage room and these rooms requires ventilation and heating.

6 air changes per hour are selected to design ventilation to the rooms according to the NFPA and 10 State standards.

Ventilation to those rooms are provided by exhaust fans and motorized damper louvers.

Heating is provided by electric unit heaters to all those rooms.

All the cad drawings are drawn by using Autocad 2D software 2017.

WATER WORKS PARK DETRIOT: Goal was to get the conditional assessment of the Hvac equipment in the plant

Field verified the Hvac equipment with the as-built drawings.

Collected the name plate data, maintenance records of the equipment.

Did field inspection and recorded all the data and inspected the conditioning of the equipment.

All the data is collected using the fulcrum software and reports are generated. SKILLS

SPRINGWELL’S WATER TREATMENT PLANT: Replacing the steam, condensate and the compressed air piping to the existing steam heating system

The heating loads for the buildings are recalculated using the Trane Trace 700 load program.

Created the demo drawings for the demolition.

Steam pipes are resized according to the new loads and pressure drop calculations are done.

Condensate piping are sized and NPSHA calculations are done and required condensate pumps are selected.

Selected the required pipe supports for the steam and condensate piping by selecting the type of hangers, anchors and guides.

Calculated the thermal expansions on the piping and selected the appropriate type of expansion joints according to the space constraints.

All the equipment’s are sized and selected to meet the requirements.

All the plans and the layouts are done using AutoCAD 2D.

Calculated the cooling and heating loads for the office building and selected the Mitsubishi 2 pipe VRF system due to space constraints.

Calculated the total refrigerant required for the system and calculated the pipe size and length required for the building spaces.

Designed and selected the required deaerator and surge tanks for the existing boilers.

Has a thorough knowledge on Ashrae Fundamentals, Ashrae systems and equipment and 62.1 standard ventilation codes.

Familiar with the international building codes, international mechanical and plumbing codes.

Also managed, reviewed and maintained the submittals and RFI’s for other projects using ProjectWise and other portals.

The design of gear pump and analysis to basic minimum requirement have been carried out using Solid works and Ansys fluent tools for flow pattern analysis

The investigation produced significant information on flow patterns, velocity and pressure fields

Analyzed the flow patterns and determined that the fluid gap size is the most pertinent parameter affecting the velocity and pump capacity.
