2013 – Current: Noble International – Middle East & India Division – Materials Supervisor, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and expertise to MEA in purchasing, procurement, warehousing, materials movement and services in support of offshore drilling operation’s needs. Materials Managers are expected to give equal consideration to health, safety, environment, cost and people in their daily operations

Responsible to plan, organize, coordinate and control purchasing, materials movement and storage in an efficient and cost effective manner via SAP;

Responsible for the maintenance and replenishment of MEA equipment and spares as requested by the rigs;

Compliance with Customs Regulations in the movement and reporting of all materials;

Responsible for the implementation of quality procedures pertaining to the purchasing and warehouse functions;

Work in conjunction with the onshore and offshore management to plan future development across the supply chain to increase efficiencies and be more cost effective;

Maintain good two way communication with operations and maintenance team members offshore and onshore;

Lead the onshore procurement / expediting team to ensure timely delivery of spare parts to achieve maximum up-time and performance of drilling systems.

2012 – 2013 Noble International – Middle East & India Division - Warehouse Supervisor, Doha Qatar.

Duties: Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Co-ordinator.

Act as Nobles Lead Point of Contact in the relevant yards and warehouses around the division.

Liaise with the Division Materials and Operations Management on business related issues relating to the division.

Act as a problem solver with Vendor, Expeditor, and Buyer etc. by developing and negotiating acceptable resolutions.

Liaise with local vendors on a day to day basis to develop relationships and enforce Noble policies on Noble property while vendor employees are delivering materials.

Weekly meetings to be established with the local 3PL vendors to discuss and resolve potential issues and future projects that require planning and organizing extensively.

Develop and present strategies for performance improvement and cost savings within the yard projects, monitor compliance with company policies, ensure adequacy of internal control procedures and conduct periodic documented performance evaluations for all department personnel.

Conform and review weekly budget reviews and schedules for following week’s projects.

Ensure all record keeping relating to the division and the responsible area is being maintained with weekly reviews.

Organize and coordinate weekly departmental meetings to include project work, day to day processes, and safety related issues. Recommendations to be made to Materials management on a weekly basis where appropriate.

Conduct and participate in weekly safety drills and musters.

Co-ordinate and control any HAZMAT materials in and out of the facilities.

Conduct regular Walk Round by Management reviews during daily operations.

Maintain open and regular meetings with Division Materials Manager.

Plan, prioritize and supervise all personnel in the yard and warehouses.

Adequately maintaining the Rigs Critical spares list, to avoid rig at any downtime

Ensure that the material is present on board on time to perform the task needed and to ensure minimum rental and no lost time waiting on equipment.

Co-ordinate boat/Helicopter activity with base and confirm loading of materials as per requirements day operations forecast.

Arranging Service company personnel’s & Materials / equipment’s to carry out their jobs.

Accurately record all costs according to vendor contracts

Maintain updated records of all rental tools/Loan & Repair equipment. To other installations.
