SUMMARY
I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Upon graduating, I joined the Henrico County Police Division where I have worked as a police officer for the last five and half years. To broaden my experience, I have taken on other responsibilities within the agency to include the Auto Theft Task Force and the Auto Theft Workgroup. This has allowed me to work in an investigative capacity, which has fomented my passion for conducting investigations. My strengths are integrity, attention to detail, strong work ethic, communication, and working as an effective team player with leadership skills. I am also striving to pursue additional education and I am currently enrolled as a student at Liberty University to obtain my master’s degree in criminal justice.

Utilized a License Plate Reader (LPR) to actively search known hot spots for stolen vehicles. Conducted surveillance on known groups and persons of interest involved in auto theft. Apprehended individuals wanted for auto theft. Processed recovered vehicles for DNA evidence and fingerprints leading to several apprehensions and successful prosecutions. Drafted and served several search warrants for DNA and cell phone data extraction. Developed operational plans to execute bait car operations and participated in several ops. Our workgroup met once a month to gather and share intelligence regarding ongoing investigations. Collaborated with other jurisdictions to address auto theft in the region and discussed prevention efforts. TRAINING
