CORE STRENGTH / TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proficient in Microsoft office suits. Familiar with MathCad or computational software. INSTRUMENTATION
• Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Infrared Resonance (IR), Isolera.
• Familiar with High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatographic mass spectrometry
(GCMS), UV-vis spectrophotometer Fourier-transformation infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). WORK EXPERIENCE
University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond August 2018-May 2020 Research Assistant, Advance towards the Utilization of Cucurbit [8] uril and selected viologen in molecular machine and devices.
• Synthesized different viologens, studied their binding modes by 1HNMR chemical shift data and binding constant with CB [7] and CB [8] by 1HNMR competition study.
• Used Isolera, reversed phased chromatography to purify viologens.
• Used NMR machine to determine the structure of the molecules. The goal of our research is to study how different selected molecules bind with CB[7] and CB[8] which could be further utilized in molecular machines and biomarkers. University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond August 2018 – May 2020 Lab Assistant, Introduction to chemistry, General Chemistry I, and Chemistry for Engineer
• Set up lab for 30 students, monitor lab supplies, and restock them as needed.
• Maintain the lab by cleaning up the spills, washing glassware and equipment.
• Store chemicals to their designated place after the completion of lab.
