Working as part of the Technology Solutions PMO Team, I managed many different projects, juggling up to ten at a time. A sampling of what my project portfolio included:
- Software Asset Management: Integrated a set of tools to manage software license management and compliance. Working with our Windows, Linux, Apple, and AIX teams, we successfully implemented license tracking capability across over 5k machines, resulting in many improvements, including saving the company $2MM annually.
- Infrastructure as a Service: Lead the initiative of transforming a manual and upredictable process of internal customers' new server build process into a fully automated, Service Now catalog based front end request system that utilized VMWare IaaS in the back-end to deliver a predictable and reliable process to the end user. Turnaround times were reduced from weeks down to hours with this massive overhaul.
- International office moves: Successfully completed a total of five fork-lift office moves across the globe in our Asia Pacific region, all while remaining in CA. The moves included coordination of employees, vendors, and physical relocation of network equipment, as well as the activation, testing, and validation of new MPLS circuits in each location. Very brief contract opportunity where I reported directly to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Retail Programs, and was brought in to manage a few very key components to the overall project.
- Took the reigns of a project that was already in motion, creating a project plan and deliverable tracking documentation virtually from scratch.
- Managed the marketing Integration portion of a very large-scale, complex merger/acquisition, which added approximately 600,000 converted customer accounts and over $1M in projected revenue growth (annually) to the Genesis retail product portfolio. Worked as upper management?s Scrum Master to monitor and control agile project deliverables, using Jira and Confluence for planning, progress, and tracking.
- Facilitate software design, development, quality assurance, continuous delivery and integration as well as managing recruiting, hiring, onboarding, procurement, budget reporting and team activities.
- Coordinate and execute all project scrums, including daily platform stand-ups, scrum of scrums, project/team retrospect, forecasting, and product demonstrations.
- Helped develop project goals, define all expectations and targets, and secure resource commitments and schedules.
