I am a 20-year-old sophomore at Tarrant County college who is currently working towards my BSN (Bachelors of Science for Nursing). I have worked 3 jobs over the past 4 years. I am incredibly loyal and hardworking, and I am always willing and able to learn new things.

NOVEMBER 2016 – MARCH 2018

SALES ASSOCIATE, jcpenney

I worked in customer service and was a floor sales associate. I helped people who had problems or complaints with their merchandise. I also cleaned and restocked the sales floor, as well as helped customers find what they needed. I trained new employees on the register as well as trained them for the floor.

JULY 2018 – MAY 2019

VETERINARY ASSISTANT/KENNEL TECHNICIAN, rickords animal hospital

I worked alongside the veterinary doctors and technicians, providing help with x-rays, shots, taking blood, etc.. I also provided service to the boarding animals by cleaning their kennels, walking them, giving them baths, feeding and giving medications, as well as nail trims.

I was homeschooled from kindergarten to my senior year of high school. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and started college during my sophomore year.

I am currently a sophomore at TCC. During my freshmen year I made honors, and for my sophomore year I made the deans list. I am currently on track to join Phi Theta Kappa. I will be continuing my education at UTA to become an RN through their BSN program.

ACTIVITIES

I am an extremely competitive softball player. I played fast pitch for 15 years and lost a scholarship to play college softball because of a new injury. I play conference level slow pitch softball as a third basemen/short stop. I like to volunteer at my mothers’ job, CEF (Child Evangelical Fellowship) and witness to children in after school programs. I also play guitar and sing at my church and am a leader in our youth group.
