PROFILE
My name is Dennis Noordijk; I have for the past 22 years contributed in many ways in senior position to the mechanisms developed within the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment profession with combined of 30 years.
My first encounter with the Health & Safety profession began during my period with Neddrill in 1990
I acquired numerous assessing / verification and professional qualifications, ranging from General Health and Safety Qualifications; Safety representative at the Aberdeen Drilling School and NEBOSH Certificate
Over the past (30) years I have been advantaged to be employed by several offshore companies, allowing involvement in various assignments around the world; there were occasions that required malleable techniques of safety management guidance, due to local cultures and various junctures of health and safety awareness.
My first assignment in Safety began in Singapore with the Company Jet Drilling, I was assigned as Safety Officer working for Shell in Brunei After leaving this post I transferred across to the Drilling Industry, where I have now been working for approximately 22 years in various HSQE roles and around 8 years in the Drilling department with a total of 30 years combined.
My personal goal is; To work as safe as possible in a professional matter with common sense, as I worked for the last 30 years with the major offshore oil companies.
So, I can say I have the skills to do this job and due to my average age, I am very flexible and still willing to learn.
I am a highly motivate individual who is willing, experienced and has the necessary skills to drive safety forward. I can work equally well within a well established team, or if required in an autonomous environment.
