Project objective:
We would like to have a maximal utilization of the installed equipment, that is, to maximize the number of satisfied customers at any given point in time. Compared to currently used methods for cell selection, we concentrated in the benefits of using our algorithms in high-loaded capacity- constrained future 4G networks. Unlike the current cell selection protocol, our proposed mechanism is global, has a performance guarantee, and addresses many of the anticipated 4G technologies.
