Roles & Responsibilities in Stress Analysis:

Stress Analysis using CAESAR-II as per latest code and regulatory industry standards for optimization of piping systems connecting static and rotating equipment’s.

Preparing critical line list, piping stress analysis specification, technical specification for Spring Hangers/Supports datasheets.

Deciding types of supports and special support at feasible structural location, as per piping layout.

Nozzle loads check in compliance with relevant equipment standard or stipulated vendor allowable.

Local stress check of Vessel at nozzle and shell junction as per WRC 107/297.

PSV reaction forces calculation, Slug force calculation.

Flange Leakage/Stress Analysis calculations as per Kellogg Equivalent Pressure Method, ASME NC 3658.3 & ASME Sec VIII Div1 Method.

Providing piping design loads on process structures, pipe rack etc., to civil/structure department.; preparing the support load mark-up, isometric mark-up etc.

Coordination with other engineering disciplines like Layout, Process, Instrumentation, Civil, Mechanical vendor, and customer.

Finalizing & clearing the stress systems for IFC, preparing the stress reports as per standard procedures.

Familiarity with international standards as ASME, API, ASTM.

Planning and preparing for execution according to project schedule.

Maintaining project tracking list of progress for coordinating with client & vendors.
