Duties and Responsibilities as a HSE OFFICER :

Conduct safety orientation to the workers and others.

To attend every tool box meeting & weekly safety meeting to make aware the workers about it safe work practice.

Review of Job safety analysis & hazard identification.

Check and Inspect of all safety equipment such as P.P.E’s, Safety belts, fire extinguishers etc. is ensure their reliability.

Ensure that the scaffold made as per the applicable standards and specification.

Weekly safety inspections joint with client & making deviation reports & its corrective actions & remedial measures

Take care of the safety of men & machinery as per the client safety procedures and specification.

To import training to all workers & staff regarding the emergency evacuation procedure.

Inspection of working equipment in the job site to ensure proper safety procedures as per client satisfaction.

Recommending disciplinary action to safety violators who unnecessarily expose themselves or other personnel to potential/physical hazard.

Initiate immediate stoppage of any operation that could cause death/injury or extensive damage to property and notifying all concerned.

Conducting routine functional tasks i.e. Tool Box meeting, Special Safety meeting and Safety orientation.

Making daily Inspection to ensure that they are working within the frame of Safety.

Checking the safe working plan and housekeeping of the working area before starting the work.

Checking and monitoring the scaffoldings and the tag system, inspecting ladders, man basket etc., before using.

Inspection of heavy equipment and lifting materials such as wire ropes, sling, shackle etc.

Regular inspection of safety and firefighting equipment.

Taking action against site employees violating the Safety rules and regulation.

Controlling on-site transport and placement of proper warning sign and signboard.

Check the excavation activity through the safety procedure.

Receive assignment, notification, reporting location, reporting time, and traffic instructions from Superior.
