Experience:

Crossroads Treatment Centers (Winchester, VA) August 2017 - July 2020.

Administered a MAT program to ensure corporate compliance and state and federal regulations were followed. Provided leadership and oversight of the day to day operations to a medication assisted treatment facility for patients diagnosed with opioid use disorder. Managed a wide range of 25 professional staff members on a clinical and medical team for a clinic with 500 patients. Handled patient’s complaints and grievances. Conducted audits for patient’s charts. Produced clinical reports for operational purposes. When needed, utilized my nursing license by doing the following: assist the medical provider by taking off orders, assessed patients for impairment, conduct intake history and physicals, accurately maintain controlled substance count logs, administer Methadone to patients, phlebotomy, collected drug screens and provided patient education.

RSW Regional Jail (Front Royal, VA) February 2015 - July 2017

Correctional LPN at a regional jail. Nursing care in acute drug and alcohol withdrawal. Triaging newly incarcerated inmates and setting up nursing care needed while incarcerated. Provided nursing care in an infirmary setting, segregation, behavioral/mental health and general population for acute and chronic complaints. Assisted in doctor’s sick call. Assessed and triaged medical emergencies. Wound treatments, IV therapy and phlebotomy. Assisted in managing the other nurses and medication technicians. Worked closely with security staff.

Correctional LPN at a men's prison. Nursing care in infirmary setting for acute and chronic conditions, segregation, doctor's office type setting, pharmacy, medication passes, triage and emergency care, behavior/mental health nursing. IV therapy and phlebotomy. Electronic charting in SOAP format.

Prince William County Adult Detention Center (Manassas, VA) May 2011-August 2011. Correctional LPN in a county jail. Medication passes, treatments, emergency care, doctor's office settings.

St Luke's Hospital - Surrey Place (Chesterfield, MO) May 2009 - September 2009. LPN charge nurse on a long term care unit specializing in Alzheimer's. Managed 4-6 CNA’s.

RJD Inc (Moberly, MO), November 2005 - August 2008. Lead Staff. Level one

medication aid for an ISL of mentally challenged clients to help live as independently as possible in the community; set up and pass medications; manage client's financial accounts; manage and lead the other staff members; assist clients in performing adequate activities of daily living.

managed employees on the sales floor, close down the store at night, assist customers with their concerns, deal with returns and exchanges, assist the managers.
