Paramedic HSE Consultant

Working contract based support as needed in the Offshore environment. Working on platforms, ensuring safe work. JSA audits, Permit to work audits and signing off. Mostly dealt with P & A of abandoned platforms. Daily reports and incident investigations. Scheduled safety meetings before each tour started and post safety meetings as they finished, discussed what went well and what could have been better throughout work to better improve safety.

HSE Advisor/ Medical Advisor

HSE Advisor duties consist of planning and scheduling your day for Rig visits and conduct extensive audits and inspections of the rig performance, training and Permit to Work process. Training employees over Safe Systems of Work along with Forklift and Manlift, CPR and First Aid, H2S training are all part of the job. Incident investigation and corrective actions are assigned as needed when an incident occurs. Conduct yearly inspections of all Loose lifting gear, cables and slings on each rig. Inspect welds in the derrick and spot check equipment being used during drilling operations. Collect monthly Random drug screens when list comes out. As a HSE Advisor it was my responsibility to train and orientate new employees about the safety systems in place. Along with that I was in charge of 5 different divisions in Pecos, Tx, Carlsbad, NM, Odessa, Tx, Midland, Tx and Big Lake, Tx where I would have to give monthly safety meetings and go over training as needed. Most days consisted of going to locations and yards where we had personnel and conducting audits and inspections of work and equipment that we were using.
