Current Duties as Safety Officer

Assisting in preparing Project HSE Plans and other project specific HSE documentation.

Outlining safe operational practices & procedures to the general workforce, ensuring that all operational activities are carried out in accordance with Company’s safety policies, statutory regulations & guidelines.

Identifying and reporting various work-site accident hazards, and performing risk assessments designed to mitigate.

Leading in-house trainer for safe working practices and procedures for work site operations & procedures.

Delivering safety induction training to new starts.

Developing & maintain training & competency records. Carrying out and chair site safety meetings.

Hazard observation cards to be checked daily from the designated box, so it will be discussed with the related departments and will be closed on the same day. Direct monitoring the site every now and then to keep always clean and tidy. Daily updating and maintaining the permit system.

Preparing Job Safety Analysis/Risk Assessment for the forth coming jobs. Coordinating with stores for availability of sufficient stock of personal protective equipments. Perform a safety inspection and audits on site. Play an active role in the incident investigation and analysis process.
